Workings Overview

A working in Cattle360 represents a herd processing session — the digital equivalent of running animals through a chute. Workings let you define a set of tasks, assign animals, and systematically process each animal through those tasks.

What Is a Working?

A working brings together:

  • A group of animals — Selected from groups, pastures, or individually.
  • A set of tasks — The procedures to perform on each animal (treatments, branding, castration, etc.).
  • A processing workflow — Moving through animals one at a time, marking tasks as completed or skipped.
