Security and Two-Factor Authentication

Cattle360 supports two-factor authentication (2FA) to add an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, you’ll need both your password and a verification code to log in.

How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Navigate to Settings > Security.
  2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app on your phone (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy).
  4. Enter the verification code from your authenticator app to confirm setup.
  5. Click Verify.

Two-factor authentication is now active on your account.

Logging In with 2FA

  1. Enter your email and password as usual.
  2. When prompted, open your authenticator app.
  3. Enter the current 6-digit code.
  4. Click Confirm to complete login.

Changing Your Password

  1. Navigate to Settings > Security.
  2. Click Change Password.
  3. Enter your current password.
  4. Enter and confirm your new password.
  5. Click Save.

Tips

  • Enable 2FA for account security. Two-factor authentication protects your account even if your password is compromised.
  • Save backup codes. If your authenticator app offers backup codes, save them in a secure place in case you lose access to your phone.
  • Use a unique password. Don’t reuse passwords from other websites or services.
