Viewing Treatment History
Treatment history gives you a complete view of all health interventions for an individual animal, helping you make informed decisions about care, sales, and compliance.
How to View Treatment History
- Open the animal’s record.
- Navigate to the Treatments tab.
- All treatment records are listed, with the most recent first.
What Each Record Shows
Each treatment entry displays:
- Date Administered — When the treatment was given.
- Medication — The name of the medication or vaccine.
- Dosage — The amount administered.
- Withdraw Date — When the withdrawal period ends (if set).
- Booster Date — When a follow-up dose is due (if set).
- Comments — Any additional notes.
Treatments Recorded During Workings
When treatments are applied during a Working session (e.g., a vaccination day), those treatment records are automatically created on each animal’s Treatments tab. You can view and edit them the same way as manually entered treatments.
Use Cases
- Pre-sale review — Check all withdrawal dates before selling an animal to ensure compliance.
- Veterinary consultation — Provide the vet with a complete medication history.
- Booster planning — Identify animals with upcoming booster dates to schedule a working.
- Pattern recognition — Spot animals that are frequently treated, which may indicate chronic health issues.
Tips
- Use workings for herd-wide treatments. If you’re vaccinating or treating many animals at once, recording treatments through a working session is faster than entering them one by one.
- Check withdrawal dates before marketing. Always review the treatment tab before sending an animal to sale.
