Deleting a Treatment

If a treatment record was entered by mistake or assigned to the wrong animal, you can delete it.

How to Delete a Treatment

  1. Open the animal’s record.
  2. Navigate to the Treatments tab.
  3. Click on the treatment record you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

What Happens

  • The treatment record is permanently removed from the animal’s history.
  • Any associated withdrawal and booster dates are no longer tracked for that treatment.

When to Delete vs. Edit

Important Notes

  • This action is permanent. Deleted treatment records cannot be recovered.
  • Consider the compliance impact. If the treatment record is needed for withdrawal tracking or regulatory compliance, editing is safer than deleting.
