Treatments During Workings
If you’re processing animals through a working session, treatments can be recorded as part of the working workflow. When a treatment task is completed during a working, the treatment record is automatically created on the animal’s record.
Tips
- Record treatments immediately. Entering records in the chute or immediately after treatment prevents forgetting details.
- Include the route of administration in comments. Notes like “SQ left neck” or “IM right hip” are useful for follow-up.
- Always set withdrawal dates for market animals. This is critical for food safety compliance.
