Removing Animals from a Static Group

You can remove animals from a static group individually or in bulk.

Method 1: From an Individual Animal Record

  1. Open the animal’s record.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Scroll to the Groups section.
  4. Deselect the group you want to remove the animal from.
  5. Click Save.

Method 2: Bulk Action

  1. Open the group you want to remove animals from.
  2. Select the animals you want to remove by checking their rows.
  3. Click Bulk Actions.
  4. Select Remove Animals from Group.
  5. Confirm the removal.

Important Notes

  • Removing from a group does not delete the animal. The animal record remains intact; it is simply no longer a member of that group.
  • Smart group members cannot be manually removed. If an animal is in a smart group, it will remain there as long as it matches the criteria. To remove it, change the animal’s data so it no longer matches, or adjust the group’s criteria.
