Adding Animals to a Static Group

After creating a static group, you need to add animals to it. There are two ways to do this.

Method 1: From an Individual Animal Record

1. Open the animal’s record.
2. Click Edit.
3. Scroll to the Groups section.
4. Select the static group you want to add the animal to.
5. Click Save.

Method 2: Bulk Action

1. Navigate to a list of animals (e.g., from a group, the dashboard, or a search result).
2. Select the animals you want to add by checking their rows.
3. Click Bulk Actions.
4. Select Add Animals to Group.
5. Choose the target static group from the dropdown.
6. Click Save.

Tips

• Use bulk actions for efficiency. If you need to add many animals at once, select them all and use the bulk action rather than editing each record individually.
• An animal can belong to multiple groups. Adding an animal to a new group does not remove it from its existing groups.
