Customizing Your Dashboard

You can control which groups appear on the Dashboard so it shows exactly the information most relevant to your daily operations.

Showing a Group on the Dashboard

The group now appears as a card on your main Dashboard.

Hiding a Group from the Dashboard

  2. Click Edit.
  3. Toggle Show on Dashboard to off.
  4. Click Save.

The group card is removed from the Dashboard but the group itself is not deleted.

What to Show on the Dashboard

Consider showing groups that represent your active, day-to-day management:

  • Active pens or pastures — See animal counts per location at a glance.
  • Sale lot groups — Track animals you’re preparing to sell.
  • Smart groups for monitoring — For example, a “Pregnant Cows” smart group or “Near Due Date” group.
  • Calves by year — Track your current calf crop.

Tips

  • Less is more. Showing every group clutters the Dashboard. Focus on 5–10 groups that you check daily.
  • Use smart groups for dynamic monitoring. A smart group filtered to “Breeding Status = Pregnant” automatically updates as animals are bred and calve, keeping your Dashboard always current.
  • Rotate seasonally. Show calving-related groups during calving season, sale lot groups during marketing season, etc.
